MIAS

Mountain-Biking Instructor’s Award Scheme

From scenic forest trails to jumps and berms, the MIAS award allows you to take people out on the bike to explore.

Ethical Activities CIC can train and qualify you to lead bike rides with confidence.
Whether it is an in-house competence award, all the way to guiding riders down Black runs, we are a MIAS National Trainer, which means we can also help you become a tutor yourself, allowing you to deliver the MIAS course and getting more people on bikes.
The MIAS award will give you the full skillset to keep the group safe, deal with trailside mechanicals, route planning and progressing riders.

Paddle UK

Paddle UK
(Formally British Canoeing)

Getting first time paddlers out on the water or leading groups down winding rivers and estuaries.
Ethical Activities CIC will equip you with all the knowledge and skills required to give you confidence to take people out on the water.

Starting with Personal Performance Awards, teaching you all the skills required to keep yourself safe and get the most out of your boating or boarding experiences. These can be done in canoe, kayak or paddleboard, in a range of environments.

Safety and Rescue courses, with so many craft out on the water, knowing how to safely recover a boat or person and get back on track is a highly important skill.

First time Fun, Paddlesport Instructor courses are designed to take a first time paddler out on the water and share the joy of paddlesport.
Leading with confidence, Paddlesport Leader trains and assesses you to take people further, down winding rivers or slow moving estuaries.
